Thank you for partnering with brick&batten on your new exterior design and for sharing a little piece of your life with us. Our goal is to create the best version of your property possible. We want you to love your exterior each and every time you come back to it!


Providing additional details before we begin your design

We begin the review of your submission immediately after your order is placed – and, if you submitted all of your photos and information as part of the checkout process, this page is confirmation that we’ve begun our work. If we need additional photos or details from you, we will contact you right away. If you notice something that needs to be changed while reviewing your submission, please alert us as soon as possible. You can email us here. We will always do our best to accommodate any feedback received, however once the design is fully in production we may not be able to make changes.

If you chose to provide photos and information at a later date, someone from our team will reach out to you within 2-3 days to gather project details and/or photos. We will start our design process as soon as your order information has been received and confirmed. Or you can email us here.


When and how you will receive your design

You will receive an email with your design and deliverable within approximately 16 working days (or about 3 weeks) of submitting your photos and project information. If you selected Expedited Delivery, the delivery time will be 8 business days (or just over a week). If you have not received your design within this time, please check your junk/spam folder and contact us or your Design Project Manager (who will be sending you a Welcome Email soon!) if you still do not see your design.

Your design deliverable email will include:

  1. All of your design images which can be viewed and downloaded.
  2. A before and after image of your exterior that may be viewed and downloaded.
  3. A clickable resource list linking you to the source for most items in your design, where you may purchase if you choose to do so.

Our ultimate goal is that you love your exterior design and that we empower you with the knowledge to bring it to life. Please keep in mind that our design is meant to provide you with the visualization, and does not have specifications or dimensions, which are best managed by a professional. We understand that tweaks may be required as you work through the details with your contractor. See the Client Stories on how brick&batten designs have been brought to life!


Requesting changes to your design

We aim to deliver a superior experience with a design you love and the knowledge to bring it to life. While our designers work to incorporate all input and inspiration from the original submission, we know it sometimes takes additional feedback to bring your vision to life. Therefore, we include one free revision on certain elements in your design. If you have asked us in your submission to design something, we can likely offer a revision to that item. Your Design Project Manager is also available to review your design and feedback prior to submitting your free revision. Many items are included in your one time free revision; however, there are some things that are exempt and will be an added cost.

We appreciate timely revision requests, yet we understand it can sometimes take time to gather feedback or review with your contractor. We simply ask to receive your free revision request within two (2) months of receiving your deliverable. After this time, you may request a paid revision and select from the available revision elements and pricing. Please head to our About Revisions page for full details.
