house with white siding and a bright aqua front door

South Beach by Benjamin Moore

From the James Hardie Arctic White siding to the white trim, fascia, soffits, and columns — rendered in Sherwin Williams’ Pure White — this home embraces a clean and classic aesthetic. To sprinkle in some contrast and draw the eye to the entrance, we painted the front door with Benjamin Moore’s South Beach. The bright aqua hue adds a fun burst of color and charm to the façade.

Blue Note by Benjamin Moore

Benjamin Moore’s Blue Note is the ideal hue for clients who want a blue front door that’s more dark and moody than bold and bright. Combined with the natural brick and white siding on the above rendering, the near-black navy door creates a sophisticated, timeless look.

Below, our designers used Blue Note to infuse the modern ranch’s neutral palette with some subtle visual intrigue.

dark turquoise home with matching front door

Moscow Midnight by Sherwin Williams

The blue front door on this home is painted with the same striking shade our designers used on the siding: Sherwin Williams’ Moscow Midnight. This complex color is ultra-saturated, with an LRV of 5. It offers a blue-jewel tone with powerful green undertones. The shade looks breathtaking on the exterior alongside the white porch door and window trim, and we love that our designers carried this blue to the front door inside the enclosed porch.

house with white stucco and siding and a dusty blue front door

Slate Blue by Benjamin Moore

The combination of Benjamin Moore’s Simply White on the stucco and siding with Benjamin Moore’s Slate Blue on the front door gives this home a light and airy feel. Because the exterior design has a front-loader garage to consider, the front door is somewhat tucked away around the curve of the walkway. However, the entrance still manages to stand out thanks to the dusty blue front door. We even included similarly colored outdoor furniture cushions, tying the design together.

Below, our designers used Sherwin Williams’ Passive on the siding with white trim for a neutral look. We tapped the coastal environment and added some wood accents, tropical landscaping visualization, and a Slate Blue front door and shutters.

warm white brick home with blue exterior doors

Waterloo by Sherwin Williams

The warm white brick on this home covers a lot of real estate, so our designers opted for bright white trim and a black roof to break things up. For even more visual interest, we incorporated a blue front door, rendered in Sherwin Williams’ Waterloo. We used the same ocean-inspired shade for the other two exterior doors, adding intentionality to the façade.

charcoal brick house with turquoise front door surrounded by natural stone

Seaworthy by Sherwin Williams

Sherwin Williams’ Seaworthy is an enchanting turquoise-meets-navy shade that’s a gorgeous hue for blue front doors. This shade pairs beautifully with the charcoal painted brick on this house. The natural stone surrounding the front door adds more dimension to the design and makes the color pop even more.

traditional house with white siding and pale blue front door

Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore

There is something so whimsical about a powder blue front door on a white house. We used Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue on the door and shutters to provide quiet contrast for this cottage-inspired home. The copper light fixtures and gutters, wall-mounted mailbox, and window boxes elevate this design’s charm.

modern house with turquoise front door

Galapagos Turquoise by Benjamin Moore

When it comes to blue front door colors, Benjamin Moore’s Galapagos Turquoise is one of our favorites to recommend. It offers just the right burst of contrast to the neutral stucco on the above rendering. In the design below, the turquoise front door looks particularly striking against the black surrounding it.

Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore

If you’re after a true navy for your blue front door, Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy is a great option. The deep, regal shade is a great companion for the neutral stucco and brick on this design.
