Once your order is placed and any outstanding details are finalized, our design team gets to work.

Most Design Transformations are delivered in about 8-10 business days, and Paint Visualizations are delivered in about 5-8 business days. Your Design Project Manager will share an estimated due date after reviewing your project details. If you don’t hear from us before then, that simply means we’re busy working on your design and will reach out if we need anything.

Need it sooner? Expedited Delivery is available at checkout for an additional fee, with full designs delivered in about 4-5 business days and Paint Visualizations in about 3-4 business days.

Every design is custom created by real people – including Design Project Managers, Exterior Designers, Graphic Designers, Color Technicians, Landscape Experts, and other specialists. We work as efficiently as possible while giving each home the thoughtful attention it deserves, so estimated due dates may occasionally shift but will be communicated clearly.

Every project is worked on by a dedicated team that includes an exterior designer, a design project manager, a rendering artist, a Pro Network specialist and in some cases a landscape designer. Your design project manager is your single point of contact throughout the process. They coordinate feedback, manage your timeline, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Your design is created by real professionals with experience in exterior architecture, color theory, and material selection.

Your before photo helps us create an accurate rendering.

For best results, take a straight, level, high-resolution photo of your home or building with as much of the exterior in the frame as possible. Cell phone photos are perfect! Please upload the photo in actual size so our team has the clearest image to work from. If we need additional pictures your Design Project Manager will reach out right away.

Yes. Be sure to upload the photo you want us to design but other angles of your home are also helpful. If additional photos are needed, your Design Project Manager will reach out.

Your exterior design rendering comes with a clickable PDF with links to our recommended materials and vendors. You can see an example on our Design Services page.

Using the links on your deliverable will take you to our recommended providers. As the leaders in exterior design and many thousands of designs delivered, we curate from and recommend high quality products. That said, we don’t take a commission on the items we select for your home’s design. We truly recommend products that are custom and best for your project and aren’t swayed by a commission.

Note that some items will not be linked due to their custom nature and/or the cost of buying them directly such as awnings, columns, stone pavers and certain hardscape features, some railings, etc. We call these Additional Items, and they are best sourced locally.

Please keep in mind that our product recommendations are just that. You are under no obligation to purchase from our suggested vendors.

Yes. We believe great design is a process, and our goal is for you to feel confident moving forward with your home’s exterior.

After receiving your design, you’ll have the opportunity to submit a complimentary revision to fine-tune key details and ensure the final vision feels just right. The best way to submit your revision is through the link in your deliverable email, which ensures your feedback is connected to the correct project and added to our workflow right away.

Your Design Project Manager is also available to review your design and feedback before you submit your revision. Sometimes a quick call can help clarify exactly what you’d like adjusted. If you’d like to contact your Design Project Manager please email support@brickandbatten.com 

Please submit your complimentary revision within two months of receiving your deliverable. After that window, you may request a paid revision by selecting from the available revision options and pricing.

Yes, of course! We work with our clients on making the changes they want to see for their exterior and are happy to keep any elements you DO NOT want changed in your design, untouched. Recently invested in a new roof? Love your natural brick? Then let us know! Please simply specify what you’d like to keep the same in your submission process. Our designers will consider these “fixed elements” to design around.

Yes! We are happy to render your home with elements you have already chosen. Please be sure to include a link to the items you have chosen and/or a photo of the items. We will render them to the best of our ability based on the information and photos you provide. Also, in your submission, please be sure to let us know what remaining elements you would still like design input on.

Of course, we ALWAYS RECOMMEND TESTING paint colors and GETTING SAMPLES of stone, siding, brick, etc., because every eye and computer screen shows color differently.
