Color Palette No. 1 //

In this design, our brick&batten design team chose Olympic Mountains on the house and Cape May Cobblestone on the shutters. Both colors are warm and gorgeous on the Spanish Mediterranean architecture. The copper Bevolo lights shine beautifully on the Olympic Mountain backdrop. Paired with dark walnut stained wooden accents on the brackets, doors, and garage, this stunner is done and ready to be delivered!

Another stunner is this beautiful home painted in dark Wrought Iron and trimmed in White Diamond to update the look. Our designers added Onyx shutters with black accents to complete the design. The outside is Matte Black and inside Polished Copper; therefore they bring out the colors in the wood door and shutters.

Next is one of my favorite brick&batten designs. I adore the detail in the wrought iron railing on the front porch and the green front door. The design was complemented by a gorgeous Magnolia Porch Swing and Darlana lights. It couldn’t be prettier!

We always recommend sampling and testing paint colors before committing. Factors such as natural lighting, undertones, and your property’s fixed elements will have a significant impact on how a color will appear on your exterior. Our friends at Samplize offer extra-large 9 x 14.75 inch peel-and-stick paint samples of the colors we love for exteriors. Order your ‘Real Paint, No Mess’ samples from Samplize here.

Another favorite is the soft Shoji White by Sherwin Williams. In this design we paired Shoji with Urbane Bronze to bring out the beautiful wooden tone. Adding the black cylinder lights, SoCal house numbers, and the modern pergola brought this ranch to life again.

Color Palette No. 4 //

Hale Navy is as strong and wonderful as it sounds! This warm deep blue hue is perfect with Sea Pearl trim and dark bronze lighting. Ready to deliver this Washington beauty!

Overall, don’t be afraid to stick with the classics and use wood accents to bring an earthy element to your design. There are many color palettes our brick&batten designers have researched, loved, and used in 2019.

What are your favorites? We’d love to partner with you on a design for your home, giving you the opportunity to SEE before you commit to changes on your greatest investment. After all, exterior paint selection is a huge commitment!
