Use an Exterior Home Designer to Create Max Curb Appeal

Using an exterior home designer to create max curb appeal can save you time, money, and a headache! We’ve all drooled over Chip and Joanna Gaines masterpieces and saved houses on Pinterest.  Our goal at brick&batten is easy. We want you to love your home! That said, using an exterior home designer to create max curb appeal is better than taking out a second mortgage, tearing out walls forcing you into temporary living, max curb appeal can be achieved in easy ways for every budget and every need.

At brick&batten we believe in making it easy. Not every house needs walls removed and rooflines changed…. and the expensive architect and dumpster in the front yard for months.

That being said, we have worked with a lot of clients that bought fixer uppers and needed brick&batten help for one reason or another.

  • Do you need some guidance to obtain the look you’re dreaming of?
  • Are you wanting to sell your home and need to update for top profit?
  • Are you buying a home and need assistance (other than the builder) in choosing the right colors, siding, rock, brick, lighting, etc?
  • Possibly you just need a second opinion to be sure you’re on the right track.
  • Or, are you one that has no vision and would like help choosing what’s best for your home exterior.
  • Are you a realtor and need marketing material for a home that just won’t sell?
  • Do you own a business and need a facelift to help with rebranding and bringing the business back to life?

No matter your level of need, brick&batten has seen it all and done it all.  We specialize in simple cosmetic changes for a big impact… for every budget and every need.

Check out some of our before&after places, for all different types of needs:

Reason #1: Your builder shouldn’t be your decorator.

Hello LA!  This client knew the design wasn’t quite right and wanted to hire a professional to offer ideas on how to jazz up his curb appeal before building.

Purchasing house plans on line, this client wanted to see a “rustic French country” design. This is a common architecture type; however, our brick&batten designers wanted to create a beautiful and unique custom home.

Reason #2: You’re a realtor or selling your home and realize an exterior stager is just as important as an interior stager!

This Atlanta realtor was given continuous feedback that the color brick wasn’t appealing. So, brick&batten offered color choices to help with marketing.

This Nashville realtor was having trouble getting this beauty sold because the home’s around it had been updated. We created a design with simple changes to get this bungalow sold. Do you choose to paint or not? We showed the client both ways!

Reason #3: Happy Wife = Happy Life

Husband bought it. Wife hated it. They’re now looking to turn this traditional house into her modern dream home before she insists on moving again.

Reason #4: Don’t let your FLIP be a FLOP

This Chattanooga stunner was bought by an investor to flip. What a transformation for that lucky owner! The enclosed breezeway and porch make this house a 10!

This could have easily been a tear down… but it’s a 1920’s build with huge character!

Reason #5: Does your rental need a remodel?

We love our repeat clients! This family used us for their personal home and now bought a place in Kansas to rent. That side porch and swing will make for amazing memories!

What a beautiful rental! This Memphis beauty wanted to keep the character but create a more inviting look. Key to this design is a flagstone walkway and wooden door.

Reason #6: You don’t want to paint but want to love your house again.

This client wanted simple changes for a big impact. Don’t want to paint your brick? No problem! Adding a metal awning and opening up the stairs creates a whole new look.

Don’t want to paint or replace your siding? We get it! Keep the change simple… extend your porch with a metal awning and update your garage doors. Gorgeous!
