Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy & Benjamin Moore’s Wasabi
Benjamin Moore’s Wasabi is one of our favorite eclectic green paint colors to recommend for bright bursts of contrast (especially on front doors). We’ve paired the vibrant hue with Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy on several designs, and this example is one of our favorites. Now, the hues are some of our favorite bold exterior paint colors for 2025. We broke up the classic navy siding with wood accents and neutral trim with subtle bold pops of Wasabi on the upper portion of the gable and carport. This creative color palette brings contrast to the unique architectural aspects of the exterior, drawing the eye.
Sherwin-Williams® Cast Iron & Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty
When our designers use bold exterior paint colors for 2025 to make a statement, we often bring complementary colors to the palette in a subtle way. Here, we used Sherwin-Williams® Cast Iron — a deep green hue with slate gray undertones — on the entire exterior. Providing simple, straightforward contrast, we painted the soffit and fascia with Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty.
Sherwin-Williams® Evergreen Fog & Sherwin-Williams® Pewter Green
Bold exterior paint colors for 2025 don’t have to be shades that contrast significantly from one another. Sometimes, keeping things in the same color family is the best way to make a statement. In this design, we used Sherwin-Williams® Evergreen Fog on the stucco and Sherwin-Williams® Pewter Green on the siding sections. We also used Pewter Green on the breeze block wall to keep the palette consistent.
Sherwin-Williams® After the Storm & Sherwin-Williams® Shiitake
Deep, dynamic blues are some of the most popular bold exterior paint colors for 2025. In this design, we used Sherwin-Williams® After the Storm on the stucco, complementing it with Sherwin-Williams® Shiitake on the brick. Because After the Storm is so saturated, it can appear black, especially if it’s paired with other dark shades. The neutral nature of Shiitake brings those beautiful blue tones to the forefront.
Sherwin-Williams® Anchors Aweigh & Sherwin-Williams® Creamy
Another one of our favorite bold exterior paint colors for 2025 is the deep blue Sherwin-Williams® Anchors Aweigh. On this house, we used the saturated blue shade on the siding. For contrast and added warmth, we used Sherwin-Williams® Creamy on the trim. Creamy is the ideal off-white hue to bring balance to a dramatic shade like Anchors Aweigh. Our designers also brought a middle ground to the mix with the light-stained wood garage doors, driving home the welcoming aesthetic.

Ask Merriam-Webster what a neutral color is and they’ll tell you things like “totally lacking in saturation” or “not decided or pronounced as to characteristics.” We beg to differ.
